Wow...What an intense year! With
hopes and spirits soaring, the Trivia Pirates once again embarked upon a mission to defeat the team Trivialeaks (formerly
known as Bank Of Kaukauna), and pillage their beloved title of Great Midwest Trivia Contest, Off Campus Champions.
Stormy seas rolled through as the epic battle began on Friday January 28,
2011 at approximately 10:00:37pm. It was an uphill battle for the Pirates, plundering their way through the ups and
downs of the contest. But in the end, victory was FINALLY ours! It was a fun and amazing ride...And if I personally
had the chance to do it all over again....I would in a millisecond!
When I first learned of LU Trivia, I never would have thought, never in a million years, that my team
would evolve to WIN. It has always been about the fun, the comradery, and the thrill of the chase. Even though
the last few years have been intense, it is still, and will always be the most fun I have ever have...and every year it only
gets better.
I have said it before, and I will say it again.....I
LOVE my Trivia family, I would not trade ANY of them for the world. I look forward to seeing them every January,
and at our annual trivia camp every summer. They will always have a special place in my heart and home. After
all, it's not January without them!!!!
